Miami Nutrition: Frequently Asked Questions
What are the best healthy restaurants in Miami?
“Best” is subjective, but we have our thoughts! We’ve ranked Avo Miami as our #1 healthy restaurant in Miami, based on a combination of credentials (seed oil free, organic, pasture-raised), taste and availability—three locations in our favorite Miami neighborhoods. We also love their fresh celery juice (not pre-bottled!). Avo Miami has it made-to-order.
For comfort food, it’s hard to beat The Cocinita in Brickell. While not necessarily the healthiest option in terms of macros, it provides nutrient dense, high quality, vegan comfort food that tastes amazing and incorporates a variety of Latin flavors. A must-visit for Miami foodies.
For an upscale “date night” vibe, we love Le Jardinier in the Miami Design District (Michelin-starred restaurant with farm-to-table ingredients, many of which come from their own garden).
What are the best healthy lunch spots in Brickell?
There are a variety of fast-casual restaurants with healthy options in Brickell, from Just Salad, Carrot Express, Pura Vida Miami (two, actually!) and more. If you’re looking for a cute lunch spots to enjoy with friends, we recommend either Pura Vida location. If you are pressed for time and need your meal quickly, it’s hard to beat Just Salad, which accommodates a variety of dietary needs (we love their black sesame tofu). Nude Miami Brickell’s hot bar is also an amazing fast option, with custom smoothies and groceries available, as well.
